The they would still have died and we would have made an enemy of Libya by launching large scale explosive weaponry right into the center of one of their largest cities. It wasn’t Libyans doing it, it was Al-Qaeda, how much collateral damage would that have caused to start shelling Benghazi? And would it have saved them? NO IT WOULD NOT HAVE.
They had troops they could have deployed within in an hour..they were told to stand down. We had drones in the air that could have pinpointed strikes directly at the group. We had a squadron of helicopters that could have been there in an hour..they were told to stand down. We had a C-130 with lasers on targets but no missiles were ordered to fire. Obviously you know nothing about our military and it’s precision with laser guided missiles. We can put a missile through a 3 foot window in a house if need be. One military general said all that would have been needed to break up the fight was a simple low fly over by a few jets and those terrorists would have scattered…because they are cowards.
Libya is not an ally of ours. Their new leader is part of the Muslim Brotherhood and a terrorist sympathizer. No one ever said once, to start a war with Libya. On the flip side, no one in the White House chose to help the people in the embassy. They watched them die. They watched these 2 guys on a roof for 7 HOURS fighting the terrorists. THEY WATCHED THEM DIE. THEY LET THEM DIE. THEY REFUSED TO HELP. What part of that do you not understand? I guess you are like our ignorant President and don’t think of these guys as “optimal” huh?
